Description
Berlin Shooting Festival gold Specimen Medal 1890 SP65 PCGS, Nurnberg mint, Peltzer-854. 33mm/16g. By Lauer. A carefully executed medal, featuring an ornately clothed marksman with rifle in one hand and a shield that holds a rampant bear in the other on the obverse and a German imperial eagle that spans the entirety of the reverse. Impressively preserved, both sides are adorned in rich gold and reddish tone, with minimal signs of handling. Rarely offered, this medal would be a significant addition to a collection of shooting issues to say the least.Auction Info
