1909-S 1C VDB MS65 Red and Brown NGC. A Gem Red and Brown example of this key San Francisco issue, showing golden luster beneath a woodgrain pattern of chestnut-brown toning. The strike is sharp, and there are no obvious abrasions. Finer Red and Brown coins are elusive.(Registry values: N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 22B2, PCGS# 2427, Greysheet# 1800)
