1909-S 1C VDB MS65 Red and Brown NGC. CAC. The original red
surfaces of this important key Lincoln cent have mellowed to light
brown in some areas, but only insignificant signs of contact are
present and satiny mint luster shines through the patina. The
design elements are uniformly sharp and the designer's initials are
bold. NGC has graded 48 numerically finer examples (5/16).(Registry values: N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 22B2, PCGS# 2427, Greysheet# 1800)
