1901-S Barber Half Dollar, MS64
Toned Condition Rarity
1901-S 50C MS64 NGC. Satiny luster yields shades of
amber-gold, tan, russet, and olive on this Choice 1901-S Barber
half dollar. The right shield corner and the eagle's right (facing)
talons exhibit slight softness as usual, as does star 3 on the
obverse. The strike is otherwise well brought out. This San
Francisco issue is rare in MS64 and finer grades. Census: 4 in 64,
