Description

1916-S Walking Liberty Half Dollar, MS62
Low-Mintage, First-Year Issue

1916-S 50C MS62 PCGS. The San Francisco Mint struck a small production of just 508,000 Walking Liberty half dollars in 1916, the first year of the design. This attractive MS62 example offers well-detailed design elements, with just a touch of the usual softness on the central obverse and the eagle's leg. The lustrous lavender-gray surfaces are lightly marked for the grade and the overall presentation is most appealing.(Registry values: N1793)
