Description

1881-CC Dollar, Frosty MS67
Seldom Offered So Fine

1881-CC $1 MS67 PCGS. CAC. Although distributed as part of the GSA release in fewer numbers than subsequent Carson City issues, the 1881-CC remains an accessible date through Superb Gem condition. Seldom are such coins offered with CAC approval, however, and finer representatives are rare. Devoid of color and nearly mark-free, this strong Carson City dollar is thickly frosted and boasts great visual appeal. There are four finer submissions at PCGS, and one at CAC (6/18).
