Thorn. Johann II Casimir gold Ducat 1661/0-HDL AU55 PCGS, Thorn mint, cf. KM33 (overdate unlisted), Fr-60, Kop-8355. 3.40gm. A handsome and golden city-issue seen with less frequency than issues from its northern neighbor, Danzig. Possessing a satisfying, mellowed patina across decidedly mark-free surfaces, but precluded from a higher assignment by the dispersal of light friction.
