Description
Spanish Colony. Ferdinand VII Countermarked 8 Reales 1828 VF25 NGC, Manila mint, KM25, Basso-52. Host coin: Peru 8 Reales 1828 LM-JM (cf. KM142.1); Counterstamp: Type I MANILA 1828. Counterstamp on the obverse, and partially visible legend of HABILITADO POR EL REY N. S. D. FERN. VII. around crowned Spanish arms counterstamp on the reverse. The present specimen offers much visibility of both the host and stamp, decorated in a lavender-grey tone.Metal: Silver

馬尼拉造幣廠。原幣：1828 LM-JM年秘魯8里爾銀幣，戳記：1型MANILA 1828。加蓋戳記於正面，背面可辨別出西班牙皇室戳記的「HABILITADO POR EL REY N. S. D. FERN. VII」的部分字樣。作為一枚重度流通幣而言，原廠樣及戳記依舊清晰可辨認，實為難得，飾有淡紫灰調的包漿。
