Spanish Colony. Isabel II Counterstamped 8 Reales ND (1834-1837) VF35 NGC, KM108, Basso-56. Host: Chile "Volcano" Peso 1834 SANTIAGO-IJ (cf. KM82.2); Counterstamp: Type VI crowned "Y.II" (XF Weak). A perennially sought-after counterstamp and especially so when impressed upon the iconic "Volcano" Peso of Chile. Expressing balanced wear commensurate with the assigned grade.Metal: Silver
