Description

1905 Barber Half, PR67
Considerable Toning and Mirroring

1905 50C PR67 PCGS. Business strikes of this date are scarce, making proofs even more popular and in-demand for type purposes. This is an interesting coin, not only because of the depth of toning but also the intensity of mirroring present in the fields. Each side displays rich sea-green and rose toning, but the reflectivity of the proof fields shines forcefully through the multiple layers of patina. Fully struck, of course. Population: 17 in 67 (2 in 67+), 1 finer (10/21).(Registry values: N4719)

Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 24P9, PCGS# 6552, Greysheet# 6666)

Weight: 12.50 grams

Metal: 90% Silver, 10% Copper
