1794 1C Head of 1794, S-35, B-21, R.5, Fine 12 NGC. Ex: Carlyle Luer Collection. Breen Die State VI, with the bisecting obverse crack of States III and IV, and with another crack from the border to the center of the Liberty Cap. This example ranks within the top two dozen of the variety. Glossy olive-brown surfaces exhibit scattered marks. The original French's manila envelope accompanies this lot, with extensive type written notes that appear to be from Doug Smith. Our EAC grade VG8.
