Description

1881-CC Ten Dollar, AU50
Rarely Seen Gold CAC Example

1881-CC $10 AU50 NGC. Gold CAC. Winter 1-A. In any condition, the 1881-CC is usually heavily bagmarked and abraded. This conservatively graded example is far finer than its AU50 grade suggests, as confirmed by the important CAC gold sticker. Housed in a Generation 4 fatty holder with its exposed hologram fully intact, the coin also retains most of its original mint luster and a bold strike. The orange-gold surfaces are original and highly attractive. Gold CAC: 2 in 50, 0 finer (5/25).(Registry values: N1793)
