Description

1933 Pedley-Ryan So-Called Dollar MS63 NGC. HK-825, Type IV, "Very Scarce." Numerous letters and digits are repunched, most prominently the S in SILVER. Attractively toned in golden-brown and lime colors. According to the Hibler-Kappen reference, "complaints developed... that some motorists were using the slugs in lieu of silver dollars at automatic filling stations."
