Description

1864 2C Large Motto MS66 Red PCGS. PCGS reports only four coins in higher numerical grades in Red (2/25). This piece has honey-gold hues with orange and rose-gold accents on the obverse, turning slightly deeper to light plum on the reverse. The strike is strong, with lustrous details highlighted against bright, shimmering fields. This piece has exceptional eye appeal, with only a few tiny specks seen under a loupe. One within the D in UNITED serves as a pedigree marker.(Registry values: N2998)
