British Colony. George III Counterstamped 6 Shillings 1 Penny ND (1810-1818) AU55 NGC, KM2, Prid-2 (different host). Incuse crowned GR in oval counterstamp (AU Standard) on a Mexico Ferdinand VII 8 Reales 1818 Mo-JJ. Rarely is this already fleeting British Honduras countermarked coinage offered in such prime condition. The stamp, paying loyalty to George III, is well above-average for the issue and the host is very attractive in-hand, wearing a cabinet tone that glistens from original luster beneath and touting practically complete detail from minimal circulation. Its hard to imagine too many more of the remaining survivors of this fascinating coinage have more visual appeal than example for offer here.Metal: Silver
