Alexander I copper Pattern Essai 10 Santim 1880-OM MS62 Brown NGC, Paris (Oeschger Mesdach) mint, KM-E1. The OM mintmark stands for Oeschger Mesdach & Co, a French firm that minted coins for several countries from the 1860s to 1880s. A lovely example of this Bulgarian Essai emission that is fiercely collected by Bulgarian numismatists. Exhibiting healthy swaths of mint gloss and a sometimes mottled chestnut coloration.
