1904 $20 MS66+ NGC. This double eagle issue is famous for its widespread availability, but Premium Gems, especially those with a Plus designation, and conditionally scarce. Superb Gems are much rarer than most collectors realize. There are only two finer examples at NGC and three at PCGS (6/19). Glowing sun-gold surfaces emit frosty luster from each side. The devices exhibit a complete impression, and abrasions are practically unseen.(Registry values: N4719)
