Description
1794 S-70 Cent, VF30
Head of 1795
1794 1C Head of 1795, S-70, B-62, R.2, VF30 PCGS. Breen Die
State II. The radial crack between the TY in LIBERTY extends over
Liberty's brow into the cheek. The later clash marks of Die States
III and IV are not yet apparent. Medium-brown surfaces with subtle
reddish undertones characterize both sides, and the border dentils
are complete save for slight weakness on the obverse rim at 9
o'clock. Major details of Liberty's hair and the wreath remain
visible. Some granularity appears in the fields, but a small nick
at the top of the O in ONE is the only notable abrasion.Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 223R, Variety PCGS# 35693, Base PCGS# 1365, Greysheet# 76794)
