1849 G$1 Closed Wreath MS65 PCGS. This is by far the scarcer
of the two first-year Philadelphia Mint gold dollar variants.
However, the Open Wreath coins tend to generate more interest as
single-year types. Vibrant frost glistens from clean yellow-gold
surfaces. This Gem 1849 Closed Wreath gold dollar is sharply
