Description

1890-CC Liberty Twenty, MS61
Colorful, Lustrous Example

1890-CC $20 MS61 NGC. Winter 1-A. From a late State of the dies, this impressive MS61 specimen shows some loss of detail in the rays and eagle's tail, due to lapping, but the design elements were strongly impressed and exhibit no actual wear. The pleasing orange-gold surfaces are lightly abraded and retain much of their original mint luster. From a mintage of 91,209 pieces. NGC has graded 65 numerically finer examples (5/25).(Registry values: N2998)
