Description

1910-S Ten Dollar Indian, MS64
Conditionally Scarce

1910-S $10 MS64 PCGS. A richly colored orange-gold example with a touch of steel-blue color noted on the high points of the reverse. A few wispy facial blemishes and a shallow mark in the lower-left obverse field stand in the way of a Gem rating. Both sides display excellent sharpness for this conditionally scarce S-mint. In terms of total number of coins extant, the 1910-S is the most common S-mint Indian eagle after the 1916-S. Its numbers dwindle quite rapidly as one progresses past the AU58 level. Population: 43 in 64 (6 in 64+), 4 finer (5/23).
