Low-Mintage Key Date
1885 3CN MS65 NGC. This is a famous low-mintage key date in
the three cent nickel series. Only 1,000 circulation strikes were
minted, compared to 3,790 proofs. Strongly defined nickel-gray
surfaces display pale golden accents. Abrasions are practically
unseen with just a single tick near Liberty's earlobe. Census: 7 in
