Description
2020-W One-Ounce Gold Eagle
v75 Privy, PR70 Deep Cameo
61 of 75 Trump Signature
2020-W G$50 One-Ounce Gold Eagle, v75 Privy, 1 of 1,945 Struck,
61 of 75 Trump Signature, PR70 Deep Cameo PCGS. In 2020, the
U.S. Mint celebrated the 75th anniversary of the end of World War
II in 1945 with the coinage of special one-ounce Gold Eagle proofs.
The coins were of the ordinary design but with the addition of a
small v75 privy mark in the right obverse field. Only 1,945 of
these pieces were struck, commemorating the year in which the War
ended. The low mintage ensures the scarcity of examples for
collectors, even while the majority grade in flawless PR70 Deep
Cameo condition. This example boasts razor-sharp definition and
liquidlike mirrors, with stark contrast and flawless surfaces. One
could hardly hope to find a more superb visual presentation when
the coin is held in-hand. Housed in an oversized hand-signed Trump
signature holder, number 61 of only 75 so signed. Includes a signed
letter from Mint Director David J. Ryder that originally
accompanied the coin.Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# E4S4, PCGS# 819292, Greysheet# 84815)
