Description

Pedro II gold 4000 Reis 1699-(R) AU Details (Cleaned) NGC, Rio de Janeiro mint, KM98, LMB-31a, Guimaraes-1699-4a. Third type. "PORTVG REX ?" variety. An issue made with new Rio dies, where the legends are separated by lozenges made with 4 dots. Showing chiseled devices and muted toned surfaces, probably having been cleaned long ago.
