Description
1814 1C Crosslet 4, S-294, B-1, R.1, XF40 NGC. A pleasing example of the conditionally scarce final-year Classic cent. Mint gloss remains across portions of the mahogany-brown surfaces, despite light to moderate wear on the curls and leaves. Only a few unimportant marks are evident. The reverse is misaligned a few degrees toward 1 o'clock, as often seen for the variety. Our EAC grade VF35.Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 224Y, Variety PCGS# 36520, Base PCGS# 1573, Greysheet# 80083)
