João V gold 6400 Reis (Peça) 1737-B XF45 NGC, Bahia mint, KM151, LMB-137, Guimaraes-1737-2.2. Fourth shield. No dot after date variety. Second finest recorded by the two major grading companies, this elusive piece has wholly original surfaces with minor highpoint wear to the fully engraved motifs and hints of mint bloom to the crevices. Missing from the RLM, Eliasberg and other major collections, the Norweb piece cataloged as VF and sold in a group lot.
