Premium Gem "Bird of Paradise" 5 Mark

German Colony. Wilhelm II 5 Mark 1894-A MS66 NGC, Berlin mint, KM7, Dav-429, J-707. A superior example of this acclaimed "Bird of Paradise" issue in it's most grand of formats, the silver "Crown". Doggedly collected in practically any state of preservation, this fantastically beauty Oceania emission is available to collectors above the MS65 level on rare occasion. This premium piece is one of only five examples between NGC and PCGS to exceed the Gem threshold and the last occurrence of one of these specimens here at Heritage was this very piece over a decade ago. A strong candidate for inclusion in an elite collection of "World Crowns" or with Oceania enthusiasts of the highest order.
