Description

1910-S Indian Half Eagle, MS62
CAC-Approved Quality

1910-S $5 MS62 PCGS. CAC. Despite a substantial mintage of 770,200 pieces, the 1910-S is a better date in the Indian half eagle series. Most Mint State pieces are MS62 or lower, and finer coins are scarce. This impressive MS62 example displays pleasing straw-gold luster and sharply detailed design elements throughout. The pleasing surfaces are lightly abraded for the grade and eye appeal is strong. The high quality within the grade is confirmed by CAC. PCGS has graded 71 numerically finer examples. CAC: 23 in 62, 21 finer (10/25).(Registry values: N2998)

Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 28DM, PCGS# 8519, Greysheet# 9323)
