Utrecht. Provincial gold Cavalier d'Or 1618-Shield MS62 NGC, Utrecht mint, KM15, Delm-967, Vanhoudt/Saunders-1425, Fr-286. 9.94gm. By Floris van Domselaar (Mintmaster) and Claes Peters Vogel (Engraver). Obv. Rider with raised sword on horseback, right, shield of arms below. Rev. Crowned shield of arms. Impressively centered and hit with a firm strike, this premium "Rider" piece is one of three examples registered at NGC.Reportedly purchased in 1954 from Jacques Schulman, Amsterdam. Old collector's ticket included.
