Description
John XXIII gold "New Missionary Bishops" Medal Anno II (1959) PR65 Ultra Cameo NGC, Rinaldi-154. 67.99gm. By Mistruzzi. Obverse: IOANNES XXIII PONTIFEX MAXIMVS ANNO II. Bust right, MISTRVZZI. Reverse: MISSIONALIS ORBIS EPISCOPOS. The Pope enthroned on the right, surrounded by bishops with miter and crosier; in the exergue, POSTRID NON MAI MCMLX / CONSECRAVIT. A sizable hunk of gold that displays wonderfully well due to large-scale expressive designs and unbound luminant splendor. Appears to be conservatively graded judging by the lack of contact chatter and hairlines. This will be the first appearance of the issue brought to market by our auction firm.Metal: Gold
