1862 $10 AU50 PCGS....
Description
1862 Ten Dollar Gold, AU50
Scarce Civil War Issue
1862 $10 AU50 PCGS. A relatively low mintage of 10,960
Liberty Head eagles struck in 1862 at the Philadelphia Mint during
the Civil War makes this a challenging issue. Rich olive-gold with
orange highlights gives an attractive appearance. Luster remains in
protected areas of the coin. Fully struck with nicely defined
design elements. Scattered small marks, none of them being
distracting. A very nice example of the scarce issue. PCGS
