Description

1926-S Cent, MS63 Red
Collector-Grade Red Example

1926-S 1C MS63 Red PCGS. Red 1926-S Lincoln cents are scarce in any grade. This piece is graded MS63, although even with a loupe it is difficult to discern grade-limiting abrasions. Both sides are satiny and uniformly tan-gold with richer peach-orange accents. There is minimal carbon and that which is present is faint. As is the custom among 1926-S cents, this piece is struck from worn dies, with soft details as a result. Population: 19 in 63 Red, 84 finer (7/19).(Registry values: N491)

Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 22CL, PCGS# 2575, Greysheet# 1900)
