Description

1904-S Twenty Dollar, MS65
Ideal S-Mint Type Coin

1904-S $20 MS65 PCGS. Over 5 million double eagles were struck at the San Francisco Mint in 1904, making it the most readily accessible Type Three S-mint issue and a popular choice among type collectors. Frosty luster abounds over the immensely appealing orange-gold surfaces of this Uncirculated Gem. Light marks are scattered throughout, and a small planchet void occurs in the right-obverse field behind Liberty's portrait. PCGS reports just six submissions in higher numeric grades (12/14).(Registry values: N2998)

Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 26CZ, PCGS# 9046, Greysheet# 9965)
