Description
Magnificent 1942/1-D Dime
MS64 Full Bands
1942/1-D 10C MS64 Full Bands NGC. This issue is very scarce
to rare in all grades, especially in Mint State with Full Bands.
Pleasing luster exudes from the satiny surfaces of this near-Gem
example. The slightest hint of light grayish-tan color evenly
covers both sides. A solid strike leaves complete definition on all
of the design elements, not just the middle bands. A couple of
trivial grazes barely keeps this magnificent coin from full Gem
classification. Census: 21 in 64 Full Bands, 13 finer
(3/09).(Registry values: N4719)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 23K6, PCGS# 5041, Greysheet# 4610)
Weight: 2.49 grams
Metal: 90% Silver, 10% Copper
