1851 1C N-5, R.2, MS66 Brown PCGS. CAC. Grellman Die State a. A splendid high-grade type coin with predominantly olive-brown surfaces. Fire-red lingers in protected regions. No marks are apparent, and carbon is confined to a subtle spot or two near the CE in CENT. N-5 and N-45 were struck from the same obverse die, and have the date entered furthest right of any 1851 die variety. Our EAC grade MS62.
