Large Letters Type Coin
1858 1C Large Letters MS66 NGC. Students of the Flying Eagle
cent will want to acquire both a Small Letters 1858 coin and a
Large Letters example, the latter of which is offered here in
seldom-seen Premium Gem condition. However, for the collector of
dates only, or type collectors seeking a single example of the
Flying Eagle design, a Large Letters 1858 is an ideal candidate as
well. This piece is sharp and satiny with tan-gold mint luster. A
streak of deeper amber toning stretches horizontally across the
