Description
James II Crown 1687 MS63 NGC, KM463, S-3407, ESC-743. TERTIO edge. A fully choice specimen whose surfaces convey a persistent sheen of underlying mint luster, graced with a blanket of iridescence that takes the form of crimson and orange-gold. The King's bust remains typically shallow, a result of the engraving rather than a reflection of the strike itself, which appears uniform throughout the obverse and reverse.Ex. Mildenhall Collection
