Description

1928-D 5C MS66 PCGS. CAC. The 1928-D nickel can be located through Gem condition with relatively little trouble. The population drops significantly, however, at the Premium Gem level. The lustrous surfaces of this offering are nearly untoned, and the strike is above average, though the bison's tail and the hair above the braid are incomplete. Exceptionally preserved throughout. Population: 66 in 66 (4 in 66+), 1 finer. CAC: 23 in 66, 0 finer (7/19).
