FS-901, Select Mint State
1937-D 5C Three-Legged, FS-901, MS63 NGC. CAC. Even casual
collectors are aware of the '37-D Three-Legged nickel, one of the
keys to a Guide Book collection of Buffalo nickel series.
Breen (1988) blamed a "Mr. Young" for the lapped die mint error,
though the identify of the oblivious mint worker is unconfirmed.
The present Select example is much nicer than most survivors.
