Theodore III gold Novodel 2 Ducat ND (1676-1682) UNC Details (Cleaned) NGC, Fr-49, Kaim-1695. 6.51gm. This 2 Ducat type issued in the name of Feodor III Alexeyevich was struck using the same dies as the 1 Ducat but utilizing a, roughly, double thick flan. These were the only two gold issues produced bearing this Czar's name, who was disabled from birth and died in 1682 at only age 20. Not since 2008 has this fleeting gold Novodel type sold with Heritage.
