Description

1867 2C PR64 Red PCGS. Two cent pieces with Red surfaces remain an undervalued and overlooked 19th century series. Prices have risen over the past 20 years, but when one considers the fragile nature of the large copper surfaces it is easy to see how few pieces remain in high grades. This piece shows even, light red color with just a tinge of yellow. The fields are nicely reflective on each side. Population: 31 in 64 Red, 26 finer (11/16).(Registry values: N1793)
