Karl VI 2 Taler ND (1719) AU58 NGC, Hall mint, KM1595, Dav-1049. 57.37gm. Mintage: 2,500. A stellar offering imbued with everything you'd come to expect from finer specimens: a fullness in strike lending to wholly rendered, intricate design details of Karl's portrait, encircled by a pleasing glossiness over lilac and slate-gray surfaces, and only the most minute of friction to the eagle of the reverse, possibly from shifting within the cabinet that likely housed this piece.
