1890-CC $1 GSA MS63 NGC. CAC. Brilliant white surfaces are
caked in frosty luster. Abrasions, while common on this issue, are
confined to just the cheek and neck on this coin, certainly
contributing to CAC's approval. Some examples were released into
circulation soon after they were minted, with most of the remaining
likely melted under the Pittman Act of 1918. Only 3,949 examples
were part of the 3 million coin GSA Hoard, making this CAC-approved
example an important opportunity for the connoisseur of this
