Description

Karl VI Taler 1717/6 CH-PW AU58 NGC, Pressburg mint, Dav-1064, Voglhuber-264/II. A most pleasing representative of this fleeting type from Pressburg, often considered the scarcest date and one that only crosses the auction block every few years. Of the small handful offered in recent memory, the specimen at hand, in terms of both quality and impression may be the finest. The struck motifs leave nothing to the imagination, with every detail fully rendered upon the battleship-gray flan, dressed in an array of glassy, gentle iridescence evident upon magnification. A particularly charming offering absolutely deserving of premium bids.

Metal: Silver
