Description

1927-S Half Dollar, MS63
Elusive CAC-Approved Example

1927-S 50C MS63 PCGS. CAC. This San Francisco issue is much scarcer in high grade than its mintage of nearly 2.4 million pieces would suggest. The coins circulated extensively, and few were preserved for numismatic purposes with the economic conditions that followed its production. Mottled highlights of green and amber toning graces satiny luster, and the coin is well struck. Collectible in this grade, but elusive with CAC endorsement.(Registry values: N1793)
