Description

1867 10C F-102, R.5, MS62 PCGS. A prooflike representative with cameo contrast and vertical die striations (as coined) throughout the fields. Apparently, the dies were lapped to remove clashmarks, with vestiges nonetheless apparent near Liberty's arms. Well-struck and unblemished with greater appeal than its grade suggests. Only 6,000 commercial pieces were issued. Housed in an old green label holder.
