O-111a, Attractive Light Toning
1823 50C O-111a, R.2, MS63 PCGS. A lustrous and smooth
Select Uncirculated coin, this late die state example is
razor-sharp with great eye appeal. Gold-to-orange peripheral toning
is more intense on the reverse with attractive blue accents at the
rims. Struck from the more available later die state with a die
crack through first four stars. Only small, scattered marks are
visible with a lens. A die dot in the top of T in LIBERTY confirms
the variety.Ex: FUN Signature (Heritage, 1/2011), lot 3683.
