1874-S Ten Dollar, AU53
Only One Piece Known in Uncirculated
1874-S $10 AU53 NGC. The 1874-S Liberty eagle has a
memorably low mintage of 10,000 coins. It is a significant
condition rarity with only one Uncirculated example apparently
known, in MS61 at PCGS (8/25). At the AU53 level, this is one of
the finer pieces known. The surfaces are smooth and relatively
unabraded. Each side displays attractive, original reddish-gold
