Only 510 Proofs Struck

1877 50C PR64+ Cameo PCGS. There was a massively disproportionate number of proofs struck in 1877 compared to business strikes -- only 510 proofs vs. 8.3 million circulation strikes. This is a deeply mirrored proof with strongly contrasting mint frost present over the devices. Most of each side is brilliant with a light accent of golden-brown peripheral color that surrounds the margins on each side. Population: 11 in 64 (3 in 64+) Cameo, 7 finer (5/16).
