1896 Half Dollar, MS65
Few Seen Finer
1896 50C MS65 PCGS. Despite being among the more plentiful
Barber half dollars of the 1890s, the 1896 is still conditionally
rare in Gem or finer condition. This MS65 coin displays a sharp
strike and satiny, original mint luster. Each side exhibits various
degrees of olive-gray toning, attesting to the originality of the
surfaces. Population: 14 in 65, 6 finer (5/16).(Registry values: N4719)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 24LV, PCGS# 6474, Greysheet# 6557)
